Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 2026 • Effective Date: September 2026
Are you an app developer or publisher? Read our Developer Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the [ad]xiety Companion App, or by utilizing attention-backed access passes in supported partner applications, you ("User" or "Consumer") agree to be bound by these Consumer Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install the Companion App or activate attention passes.
2. The [ad]xiety Experience
- You choose when to watch a single rewarded video inside the sandboxed [ad]xiety Companion Hub.
- Upon completion, the Companion Hub mints a secure cryptographic time pass stored locally on your device.
- Your partner utility verifies the pass completely offline and grants uninterrupted access for the configured duration.
3. Consumer Privacy & Offline Isolation
We believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Our architecture is built around hardware-enforced isolation:
Zero Host App Internet Access: Partner host utilities (such as offline car automation or camera tools) operate with zero network permissions. They cannot track you or send personal data anywhere.
Ad Network Quarantine: Third-party ad networks exist exclusively inside the Companion Hub. They never receive your host utility's package identity, personal documents, device automation logs, or usage history.
No Account Required: You do not need to register an account, sign in with social media, or provide an email address to use [ad]xiety.
4. Pass Stacking & Offline Continuity
To fit your routine, [ad]xiety implements flexible attention management:
- Pass Stacking: You may watch rewarded ads in advance to bank passes up to each app's configured ceiling. New passes add directly to your current balance without resetting or penalizing your time.
- Offline Reserves: When you are away from internet connectivity (e.g. while driving or hiking), supported partner apps may issue an emergency offline reserve pass to ensure critical utilities remain functional.
- Reserve Reconciliation: When network connectivity is restored, the Companion Hub allows you to reconcile reserve passes seamlessly so your access continues uninterrupted.
5. Acceptable Consumer Conduct
You agree to use [ad]xiety fairly and in good faith. You agree not to:
- Use automated bots, emulators, click-farms, or scripts to simulate ad views or manipulate pass issuance.
- Decompile, modify, or forge ECDSA P-256 cryptographic tokens or token signatures.
- Interfere with or bypass token verification or local security protocols.
6. Third-Party Advertisements
Rewarded advertisements presented within the Companion Hub are delivered by independent certified advertising mediation platforms. [ad]xiety does not endorse, curate, or guarantee any third-party products, services, or claims displayed in advertisements. Any engagement with advertisers is strictly between you and the respective third party.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The Companion App and pass services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, [ad]xiety and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
